Ellen Landrum, LCSW

Hello! My name is Ellen Landrum, and I am a licensed clinical social worker based in Brooklin, Maine. My practice focuses on maternal mental health and LGBTQ+ mental health. I specialize in treating perinatal mood disorders (PMADs), including postpartum depression and anxiety. I also see a number of transgender clients and have supported clients through transition, including surgery and hormone therapy.

I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Simmons College in Boston, and my background includes work in schools, hospitals, nursing homes and outpatient clinics. I’ve treated adults and teens managing depression, anxiety, PTSD, and supported families and individuals through crisis and grief.

In addition to the continuing education required to maintain a social work license in Maine, I have completed the Perinatal Mood Disorders certificate course with Postpartum Support International. As of now, I am seeing clients exclusively online but hope to include home visits and support groups in the future. Teletherapy will continue to be part of my practice, enabling me to connect with families across Maine, regardless of their location.

I live with my wife, Rene, our three children, six hens and two dogs in Brooklin.
